In line with the Department of Education and Department of Health advice, classes at Young Peopleβs Theatre are continuing. Tutors, staff and volunteers have been briefed as to how best facilitate proper social distancing and we have also increased hygiene practices.
Today, the Federal Government announced that non-essential indoor gatherings of more than 100 people are banned until further notice, effective immediately. Sadly, due to new restrictions on public gatherings imposed by the Federal Government, YPT announces the postponement of our upcoming productions, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang JR.
Ticket holders for postponed performances of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang JR. will be notified of the rescheduled dates. Once the new dates are announced, boxoffice@ypt.org.au will contact you and will give you an option as to when you would be able to attend. Another alternative is to donate the amount as a tax-deductible contribution which will support ongoing theatre operations through a difficult period.
