Disney’s Alice in Wonderland JR. – Accessible Performances

Fall down the rabbit hole with Alice as she navigates the curious, magical world of Wonderland on a journey of self-discovery, where everything seems to be upside down.This 60-minute stage adaptation of the classic Disney animated film and the Lewis Carroll stories makes a triumphant return to the Broadway Junior® catalogue, with an updated script and score made specifically for today’s young performers. It features Disney favorites such as “The Golden Afternoon,” “The Unbirthday Song,” and “Painting the Roses Red” along with brand-new songs, including music from the 2010 live-action film.

AUSLAN Interpreted Performance
Tuesday 15 April at 2:30pm
Young People’s Theatre is excited to be able to offer an AUSLAN interpreted performance of our Disney’s Alice in Wonderland Jr. Qualified AUSLAN interpreters will be live signing along with the show.

Sensory-Friendly Performance
Thursday 17 April at 2:30pm
At this relaxed performance, audience members are encouraged to be completely themselves while enjoying the production. Modifcations include:

  • Audience members will have the freedom to move between the foyer and auditorum
  • Access to Quiet Spaces
  • Reduced sound effects and overall volume of the production
  • Reduced lighting effects 
  • House lights remain on during the performances
  • Small adaptations to performing on stage to reduce any sudden noises or movement
  • Audience interaction removed from the performance
