This week we welcomed our tutors back into the building for multiple sessions of professional development and 2025 inductions. We had so much learning and being inspired for the year ahead and we can’t wait to welcome the students back for a year of teaching!

Special thanks to Chelsea, Maddie N , Claire, Sam, Matt, Maddie W and Riley for preparing skill sharing workshops to inspire our tutors in their class planning!

Our theatre is as busy as ever and there are so many ways you can be involved. Check out below what happening in February!

1️⃣ YPT CLASSES
Weekly classes in Drama, Musical Theatre, Dance, Singing, Tech, Script Writing and more begin back on Monday 3 February. Limited places available in all age groups. See our website for more information or to enrol: https://ypt.org.au/theatreschool/

2️⃣YPT OPEN DAY
Thinking about joining YPT? Why not join us for a tour or taster class on Saturday 1 Feb. Meet our tutors, try out a class, see a YPT performance and tour our theatre. 3️⃣RUBY MOON
Our adult Theatre Company, Lindsay Street Players is currently rehearsing for our Feburary Production of Ruby Moon, an Australian Play which is a HSC text. Tickets are $25 and are now on sale. Note: This production includes adult themes and is suited to a mature audience. Book at ypt.org.au/bookings

4️⃣DISNEY’S ALICE IN WONDERLAND JR.
Fall down the rabbit hole next school holidays with our anticipated production of Disney’s Alice in Wonderland JR. A fan favourite from when we presented in 2018, we know this is one for the whole family. Tickets are $25 and now on sale at ypt.org.au/bookings
