Describe what you do as a creative in one sentence?
Caitlin: I like to be involved in as much as I can around the theatre and am always up for a new challenge however, my passion has always been musical theatre and drama so I  often find myself engaged with activities surrounding them the most.

What is your favourite theatre memory?
I don’t have one stand out memory surrounding theatre however I do always love closing night of shows, the energy thats created in both the audience and on stage, is always something that I look forward to at the end of every production that I’m apart of.

What inspires you to do theatre?
I have always been drawn to everything theatre since I was little, I was always dressing up as my favourite characters and watching my favourite musicals on the tv, preforming the dances with the characters so I think that it is something naturally drawn to and want to be apart of.

What are you excited about teaching YPT students?
I am so excited to be teaching students at YPT as I want to assist them in improving on their skills as well as help them to feel more confident in preforming and in their everyday life.

What do you love about theatre/dance/drama?
I love the community and the environment that surrounds theatre the most, being surrounded by people that share the same interests as you is a very fulfilling feeling and      being able to preform with those people is so much fun.

What is your favourite play or musical?
My favourite musical has always been Mamma Mia, I love the energy that the movie has and I think that  can recite every line, sing every song and preform every dance if  you asked me to, it is a big dream of mine to be apart of the production one day.

What is one piece of advice you could give to any YPT student?
To take every opportunity that comes your way. I think that my most favourite times in theatre were when I joined something last minute or an opportunity came my way  that I wasn’t expecting and I agreed without hesitation.

Are you excited to be apart of YPT?
I am so excited to start this new chapter with YPT, being a student when I was younger and now coming back after moving to QLD for a few years I want to give students the same fun experiences that I remember when I was young.

Tatjana has joined the YPT Tutoring team working with Primary School in both Drama and Extension Classes. Caitlin is also currently the Choreographer for Disney’s The Aristocats Kids. Caitlin is also appearing in YPT’s production of A Chorus Line later this year.
