Get to know the Scat Cat from our current production of Disney’s The Aristocats KIDS. This role is shared between two young but talented actor, Nicholas Sharwood and Conway Oakhill. Catch these two on stage for alternating performances through to October 22.
What is your name, your character and what part do you play:
Nick: My name is Nick, my character is Scat Cat and my cast is Hi Hats Cast
Conway: My name is Conway, I play Scat Cat and I’m in the Tom Tom’s cast
Tell me about your character:

Nick: Scat Cat is the leader of the alley cats and is best friends with Thomas O’Malley
Conway: Scat Cat is the leader of the alley cats and introduces jazz to the alley cats
What are you most excited for when shows start:
Nick: I’m most excited to finally perform in front of people because I think that it will be magic for everyone in the cast
Conway: I’m excited to finally have an audience because we have been rehearsing very hard
What do you like doing the most in rehearsals:
Nick: Being able to work with a big community
Conway: I like acting with my friends
Tell me what the show is about:
Nick: The show is about Madame who is very rich and is going to leave her money to her cats, but the butler Edgar get jealous so he kidnaps the cats and they run into Thomas O’malley on their way home
Conway: The show is about a butler who kidnaps the Aristocats for money and they get washed up on a river side and meet Thomas O’Malley, he leads they back to Paris and the meet some alley cats along the way
Why should people come and see Aristocats:
Nick: I think that people should come and see it because the crew have worked so hard on the set and dances and blocking and it looks amazing
Conway: Because it’s a fun experience to be apart of
