Congratulations to our singing teacher, Maddie Watts who has been offered and accepted a place in Brent Street prestigious Diploma of Musical Theatre for 2019.
This recent, exciting news means we will sadly be farewelling Maddie as a singing teacher from YPT. Maddie has been an incredibly valued member of our YPT community, particularly for her work as a singing teacher for the past two and a half years.
Maddie attended YPT as a student for many years and appeared in countless productions. Most recently, Maddie was the Director/Musical Director for City of Newcastle Drama Association – CONDAs nominated Disney’s Alice in Wonderland Jr.
Maddie is an incredibly talented singer and performer and recently completed her Bachelor of Music at the Newcastle Conservatorium of Music. We are very lucky to have had Maddie share her talents and passions with our students.
We are very proud and excited for Maddie as she takes this leap towards achieving her dreams. Maddie, from all of here at YPT we wish you the very best of luck on your next adventure. You wholeheartedly deserve this incredible opportunity and we can’t wait to see where it takes you. You will be so missed, but always remembered for the significant contribution you gave to the YPT community and your students.
