A Pocketful of Stories: Tales from the Sea
In ‘A Pocketful of Stories – Tales from the Sea’, we join the author and
her friends on the shimmering shore. Here, they gather seashells and
inspiration to write stories filled with colourful characters and delightful
songs. Throughout the play, the author and her friends engage the
assistance of the audience to become beach objects, create ocean
sounds and make suggestions for characters to perform. With stories by
Claire Thomas, gorgeous songs written by Glenda Price and orchestrated
by Alexandra McCann – the cast and audience will be shimmying
and bopping along together! In 2025, YPT is presenting A Pocketful
of Stories: Tales from the Sea at the Newcastle Fringe Festival.
