YPT runs a number of exciting theatre workshops for young people from Year 1 to Year 6 during select school holidays!
Students will learn performance skills, drama basics, build their confidence and create while encouraged to think creatively through a wide variety of inclusive, energetic, and fun activities.
MONDAY 12 JANUARY
PINK VS. GREEN – MUSICAL THEATRE WORKSHOP FOR YEARS 4-6

Fly into a magical workshop these school holidays at YPT!
During this 6-hour workshop students will skip down the yellow brick road as they explore characters and themes from our favourite ‘pink vs green’ musical.
This workshop is a great introduction into the world of Drama and Musical Theatre, while building confidence and teamwork skills, that will definitely be a ‘wicked’ hit with any student!
Workshop includes craft materials to use during the session, craft to take home and a Drama and Music skills workshop.
This workshop is open to any students in Year 4 – 6 both current YPT students and non-YPT students.

Creep and crawl into a magical workshop these school holidays at YPT!
Who are your favourite quirky creatures? Labubus? K-Pop Demon Hunters? Unicorns? Squishmallows?
During this 3-hour workshop students will explore characters and themes from our favourite quirky creatures!
This workshop is a great introduction into the world of Drama and Musical Theatre, while building confidence and teamwork skills, that will definitely be a golden hit with any student!
Workshop includes craft materials to use during the session, craft to take home and a Drama and Music skills workshop.
This workshop is open to any students in Years 1 – 3, both current YPT students and non-YPT students.
FRIDAY 16 JANUARY
Facepainting Skills for the Stage – YEARS 7+
- Friday 16th January
- 2:30pm - 5:30pm
- $45 per student
- Venue: YPT Hamilton
During this 3-hour workshop students will learn practical skills in face
painting for the stage.
Students will workshop different brushstrokes, patterns and eye shapes before creating their own character designs.
Workshop includes materials to use during the session.
This workshop is open to any YPT student currently enrolled in Year 7-12.
