Audience members arriving late to a show will need to wait for an appropriate point in the performance to be shown in by ushers.

During this time, YPT is unable to provide Canteen Facilities and audience members will not be permitted to eat during the performance. Bottle Water is accepted.

No. Strictly no photos or videos can be taken during the show. All mobile phones must also be switched off as these not only disturb other audience members, but can interfere with technical equipment like hearing loops.

We are introducing sensory-friendly performances that offer a more relaxed theatre experience for audience members who may find particular aspects of theatre shows challenging.

Our first reduced sensory performance was ‘The Hundred and One Dalmatians’ on Sunday 28 July 2019.

In these designated performances the auditorium has brighter lights, lighting effects are kept to a minimum, and the sound is turned down. There is also an understanding that audience members may make more noise, and can do so without fear of judgement.

Please contact our office if you would like to be notified when these reduced sensory performances are scheduled

No. Unfortunately the Theatre is not available for community hire. This is due to the continual use of the theatre for productions and theatre school classes.
