Claire knows this firsthand. From student and performer, to tutor and director, and now our Learning & Development Coordinator – she’s spent 34 years calling YPT home.

My first show was Hansel and Gretel and my friends and I still quote the dialogue regularly… don’t even mention the word ginger, it’ll set us off on a singing frenzy!”

Not only is Claire a talented drama tutor who makes drama fun and engaging for our youngest students, she’s also an award-winning playwright. Her Pocketful of Stories series—written especially for the YPT stage—has captured hearts and imaginations. Now, she’s helping nurture the next generation of writers through YPT’s dedicated scriptwriting program.
