Get your ducks in a row these holidays at YPT with a creative half day workshop all about Honk JR. – The delightful musical story of the Ugly Duckling!
Students will begin their workshop with a visit to YPT custom built theatre where they will watch a performance of our September production of βHonk JR.β. Participants will have the opportunity to meet with a member of the productions creative team and see a peek behind the curtain.
Following the performance, students will explore the characters and themes of Honk JR. through a fun performance workshop that includes dance, singing, character work, and design. Students will have the opportunity to participate in some arts and craft connected to the show, along with meeting some of the cast members.
This workshop is open to any students in Year 2-5 both current YPT students and non-YPT students.
Cost:
$75 per student. Creative Kids Vouchers accepted.
Workshop includes:
- Ticket to Honk JR. for participants to attend during the workshop
- Musical Theatre and Drama skills workshop
- Craft materials to use during the session
- A sweet treat from the YPT canteen
