What happens in the show?

Evie: In the show the Rainbow Fish is a beautiful fish with amazing scales who is admired by everyone. Little fish asks the Rainbow Fish for a scale but he gets mad and yell at the Little Fish, Everyone is shocked by this and ignores the Rainbow Fish so when he tries to go to a party the fish there tell him to lay low for a whole, so he decides to hangout with the Little Fish school as they are “ordinary fish”.
Rose: There is a rainbow fish with beautiful scales and gills. He won’t share a scale or even play with the school.
Camille: An arrogant, beautiful fish has everyone’s attention and he loves it!

What did you like best about the performance?
Evie: The Octopus scene was amazing, the song went really well, and all the songs were so good! Everyone sounds beautiful.
Rose: I loved how energetic it was. All the scenes were better than the last. I could not guess what would come next, which I enjoyed the most.
Camille: I loved everyone’s strong and clear personalities as it brought humor and emotion as well as understanding into the show.

Why should audiences come to see the show?
Evie: The Rainbow Fish is a fun, educational show about a beautiful fish who doesn’t have any friends but learns that beauty isn’t everything, and gives away some of his scales to learn the true meaning of happiness. It is an amazing show, perfect for young audiences!
Rose: It was well performed and very enjoyable. Everything is very beautiful and colorful. All the scenes were very energetic.
Camille: I believe it tells an important message. It shows that if you want attention and admiration at the end of the day, it’s not appearance that draws this attention, its personality and kindness.

List a few things you liked about the following elements of the show and how it enhanced your experience: Lighting, Use of Sound/Music, Costume, Set & Props:
Evie: The lighting was amazing and really enhanced the mood and the music really added tension and/or joy when It was appropriate. The costumes really helped to tell the characters apart and tell what sort of fish they were. The props really enhanced the setting and were beautiful and detailed.
Rose: The lighting really highlighted all the characters and props used. The use of sound and music. The costumes and set were picked perfectly.
Camille: The music and lighting really set the vibe well. And the props and costumes helped tell that this story is about sea creatures and that it happens underwater.
