Happiness is great musical theatre! Based on the beloved Peanuts Charles Schulz comic strips, You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown is a revue of songs and vignettes with charm, wit, and heart. Charlie Brown and the entire Peanuts gang explore life’s great questions as they play baseball, struggle with homework, sing songs, write novels, swoon over their crushes, and celebrate the joy of friendship. There is a 1985 animated television adaptation of the musical which features the majority of the songs and scenes.
AUSLAN Interpreted Performance

Young People’s Theatre is excited to be able to offer an AUSLAN interpreted performance of our You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. Qualified AUSLAN interpreters will be live signing along with the show.
Sensory-Friendly Performance
Thursday 10 July at 2:30pm
At this relaxed performance, audience members are encouraged to be completely themselves while enjoying the production. Modifcations include:
- Pre Show introduction with Cast and Members of the YPT Team to familarise with storyline and the actors and the characters they play
- Brief social story emailed 48 hours prior to performance
- Audience members will have the freedom to move between the foyer and auditorium
- Access to Quiet Spaces
- Reduced sound effects and overall volume of the production
- Reduced lighting effects
- House lights remain on during the performances
- Small adaptations to performing on stage to reduce any sudden noises or movement
- Audience interaction removed from the performance
